Built for Grazing Land
C2 Premier Services works as a fence contractor in Lampasas, TX and across Lampasas County, building the fences, gates and cleared pasture that working land depends on. The City of Lampasas records that the first settlers found this country well suited to grazing cattle, sheep and goats, and that is still the kind of work most rural owners here call about.
A livestock fence has to do a specific job. Cattle lean on wire, goats test every gap and a gate left weak at the corner post sags within a season. We build each line for the animals it holds and the ground it crosses, then hang a gate that fits it.
Our crew handles the whole project, from the first estimate to the final walkthrough. Clearing the fence line, setting the posts, stretching the wire and installing the entry all happen under one plan, so you are not chasing several contractors to finish one pasture.

Most of what we build around Lampasas falls into a few kinds of work:
For ranch fencing Lampasas owners can count on, the wire is only half the job. Corners and braces carry the tension, so we set them first and build the rest of the line from them. Using one fence contractor in Lampasas, TX for the clearing, the wire, the pipe and the cattle guard also means every piece is laid out to work with the others.

Ranch fencing in barbed wire, high-tension wire or goat and sheep fence for pasture and cross fencing.

Pipe fence installation for welded pipe pens, alleys and road frontage that needs to stay straight for years.

Custom ranch gates and cattle guard installation for entries off county roads.

Land clearing to open fence lines and pasture and haul off the brush and debris.

Metal building construction for barns, hay storage and equipment sheds.
Know the County
Lampasas is the seat of Lampasas County, which was created in 1856. The town first went by Burleson and took the name Lampasas Springs for its mineral springs, and the springs drew visitors after the railroad arrived in 1882. Hancock Springs, named for landowner John Hancock, is still a landmark in town.
Water shapes fencing here. Sulphur Creek runs through the city, and the City of Lampasas records major floods in 1873, 1936 and 1957, when up to 12 inches of rain fell west of town. A fence that crosses a creek or a draw needs a plan for high water, whether that is a crossing built to let debris pass or a line that steps back from the low ground.
US 281, US 183 and US 190 all come together in Lampasas, running jointly along Key Avenue through the center of town. Land with frontage on one of those highways is seen by everyone who drives past, so the frontage fence should look as good as it holds. That is where welded pipe earns its cost.

Welded pipe fence is a heavy, long-term choice. Pipe posts and rails are welded into one rigid frame, which holds its line along a highway frontage and stands up to cattle crowding a pen. For a pipe fence Lampasas owners plan around working pens, an alley or a ranch entry, we lay out the line before any posts are set so the gate openings, the corners and the pens all line up with how you move stock.
Pipe also pairs well with other fence types. A pipe frontage with barbed wire or high-tension wire behind it keeps the cost sensible on long runs while giving the entrance a finished look. Decorative pipe works at the house, where the fence is as much about appearance as containment.
We weld and install the pipe, then finish the job with the gate and, where you want one, a cattle guard at the entry.

Brush along an old fence line makes the line hard to build and harder to check. Land clearing Lampasas owners schedule before a new fence goes in opens a clean path for the posts and the wire, and clears the pasture so grass can come back. We remove brush, cedar and dead trees and haul the debris away instead of leaving burn piles behind.
Oaks need care during that work. The Texas A&M Forest Service advises against pruning or wounding oak trees from February through June, when sap beetles move oak wilt spores between trees, and recommends painting any fresh oak wound right away. If your Lampasas County pasture has oaks you want to keep, we plan the clearing around them and around that calendar.
Our hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and every estimate is free.

Goats test fences more than cattle do, so a goat and sheep fence uses woven wire with small openings low to the ground, stretched tight between well braced corners. The City of Lampasas notes the county has been cattle, sheep and goat country since settlement. C2 Premier Services builds goat and sheep fencing and can add a barbed or high-tension strand on top if cattle share the pasture.
Sulphur Creek runs through Lampasas, and the city has a long record of floods, including 1873, 1936 and 1957. A fence that crosses a creek or a draw needs a crossing that lets high water and debris pass without tearing out the line. We look at where water runs on your property before the fence is laid out, then plan each crossing so a flood means a repair, not a rebuild.
The safest window for any cutting near oaks is July through January. The Texas A&M Forest Service advises against pruning or wounding oaks from February through June, when sap beetles spread oak wilt, and recommends painting fresh oak wounds right away in any season. Clearing cedar and brush away from oaks can happen year round, so we schedule the work near your oaks around that calendar.
Yes. C2 Premier Services installs cattle guards along with custom ranch entry gates, so vehicles can come and go while livestock stay in. A ranch with frontage on US 281, US 183 or US 190 can pair a cattle guard with a welded pipe entry and a gate beside it for moving stock. We set the guard and build the entry around it as one job.
